Eros International Media Ltd appoints Jyoti Despande as Executive Director

Mumbai, 29th June 2012: Eros International Media Limited, a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry has announced the appointment of Jyoti Deshpande as Executive Director vide Circular Resolution passed by the Board of Directors of Eros International Media Ltd on 28th June 2012 with effect from 1st July 2012.

Jyoti Deshpande has graduated with a Bachelors' degree in Commerce and Economics and a Masters in Business Administration from Mumbai University. She has over 18 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry. She has previously worked in advertising with J. Walter Thompson, India before moving to the UK in 1997 where she was a senior consultant with MindShare, U.K. She has been a part of the core team that founded B4U Television Network in the UK in 1998-99 and managed its expansion to other parts of the world in a span of two years. She had been with the Eros International Group since 2001 to November 2011 and on Board of Eros International Media Limited from 28th September, 2009 to 27th May, 2011. She was instrumental in helping Eros plc list on the AIM in July 2006 and Eros International Media Limited on Indian Stock Exchanges in October 2010.

Jyoti Deshpande has been appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Eros International PLC with effect from 22nd June, 2012.
